Located in the heart of downtown Roanoke, VA, The Patrick Henry Ballroom and Conference Center combines a rich history, elegance, and convenience for your special events. Built in 1925, our luxurious facilities were meticulously renovated in 2011, preserving many of the original features of the building while providing all the modern conveniences vital to hosting a wide variety of events from conferences, meetings and workshops to weddings, receptions, and parties. The Grand Ballroom: Elegant and spacious, our Grand Ballroom is the perfect setting for a diverse range of events and can easily be configured to your needs from a seated catered dinner, theatre-style seating for conference sessions, or a cocktail reception. Features included with the rental of the ballroom include state of the art sound system and projector, an adjacent full catering kitchen, large coat closet, and lovely marble bathrooms.
The Promenade: Adjacent to the Grand Ballroom and overlooking the atrium, the promenade provides a wonderful overflow area for the ballroom or a wonderful location for conference vendor stations or cocktail hour.
The South Lobby: This semi-private clubhouse-style room is located in the main lobby at the Patrick Henry and is perfect for small to medium size meetings or casual receptions or cocktail hour. Optional audio/visual equipment is available can be included upon request to make your presentations a success!
The Governor’s Suite: Perfect for a hospitality suite, breakout meeting room, bridal suite, or lodging for a special guest, the Governor’s suite features a large living room area, full kitchen, 1.5 bathrooms, and a comfortable private bedroom as well.
